How does Claude's built-in microphone/dictation feature compare to Whisper Flow?

Claude has a microphone button directly on the prompt page that lets you dictate instead of typing, similar in concept to Whisper Flow — you can still edit the text before sending, and it shows the words appearing as you speak. The open question raised was whether Claude's transcription accuracy is as good as Whisper Flow's, since Whisper Flow was described as rarely making mistakes. The suggestion was that if Claude's built-in dictation is also consistently accurate, there may be no need for a separate tool like Whisper Flow.
