Why this exists
Everyone was posting about AI. Almost nobody was showing their work.
You know the feed. Hot takes, a screenshot of someone's “game-changing” prompt with the useful part cropped out, a new course every week. Plenty of opinions. Very little help.
Meanwhile the accountants who had actually figured something out kept it close. And the rest of us were trying things alone at eleven at night, not sure if we were behind, and not about to ask in public and find out.
I want to know what I don't know. I learn so much from seeing what others are doing that I might not have even thought about.
So we built the opposite. A room where you show the real thing, half-finished, and nobody rolls their eyes. Where the person who cracked it shares it instead of selling it. Where “I don't know yet” is the most common sentence on the call.
I started the AI Lab because of what I keep seeing in this profession: the burnout, the workload, the people who love this work being worn down by it. If accountants actually learn to use AI, not collect ideas about it, but use it, they get real time back in their lives.
