What's the purpose of using Claude design (as opposed to just going straight to a tool like Lovable) to build a website?

59:30From the May 27 call · A Smart Ledger Demo, Quick Claude Builds, and Engagement Letter Questions

The stated purpose was to go deeper on standardizing the design and design language before moving to a build tool. However, the group pointed out that Lovable does that same design-language work itself, so if you know you'll eventually end up in Lovable, it may make more sense to just start there. The counterpoint was that Claude design also produces great websites on its own, so if you want to stay in the Claude ecosystem, you can just continue with Claude design rather than switching tools mid-project.
