What's the difference between using Gamma versus Claude directly for building a presentation?

One member's experience: Gamma is preferred for the graphics and layout quality of presentations — she felt her slides looked much better and found the summary/layout style better suited to her courses than what Canva could produce at the speed she needed. With Claude alone, she had tried having it generate presentations but wasn't impressed with the graphics output, though she noted this might be due to not using it optimally rather than a hard limitation of the tool. In practice she uses Claude to draft the content/outline and then connects that into Gamma to produce the actual visual deck.
