What does a typical client workflow setup look like inside Double?

14:59From the June 3 call · MCP Connectors, Custom Portals, and AI Tax Workflows in Practice

Double comes with default closing layouts for each client (whether or not connected to QuickBooks), including a monthly close section, reconciliation update section, standard transaction reports, and a bookkeeper review section (which replaced what used to be a spreadsheet process). The member added their own sections on top of the core templates: a catch-all section for miscellaneous recurring items, a payroll-specific section for clients with payroll, and a weekly bookkeeping tasks section to keep staff on track with categorization during the month. They also simplified the client communication/final report delivery section from about 18 steps down to just the essentials, with help from an outside expert. Once the template is built, it automatically applies whenever a new client is set up in the system.
