Getting started

I'm not a developer and have only used AI in chat -- how should I get started with Claude Code to build something like a client-facing app?

The recommendation was to download Claude Code for desktop, which has a desktop app that avoids needing to work directly in a coding terminal. First step: tell it to download 'superpowers.' Then give it an example of what you want (e.g., an existing HTML deliverable) along with context such as 'I'm not a developer, I've never built anything, I want to build this for my accounting practice.' Because you've told it you're a beginner, it will explain things appropriately and walk you through basic steps like setting up a server, and it will typically ask about a dozen clarifying questions to help flesh out exactly what you want to build.
