How long does it actually take to build tools like custom dashboards or agents using Claude Code?

One member said the dashboard he demoed, one of his biggest time-savers, took only a couple of hours to build, and a related agent took about another couple of hours. More complex staged projects (like building safeguards so Claude doesn't hallucinate or accidentally delete data in QuickBooks) took longer and happened in stages, but overall building is much faster than people expect. He noted his team now uses the dashboard for hours every day, and the whole page took roughly two to three hours to build.
