How do you consolidate financials across multiple QuickBooks entities (including foreign currency) using AI tools?

25:24From the June 10 call · MCP Connectors, Custom Dashboards, and Skill Libraries in Practice

For a client with three QuickBooks entities (US plus two in Europe), one member built a custom portal that consolidates all three into one consolidated income statement and balance sheet, converting the European entities to USD. Getting Claude to pull from three separate QuickBooks connections wasn't a major obstacle - it required giving it three separate refresh tokens, and the LLM/build then treated it as pulling from three different entities. The currency conversion math was handled separately in the build, and a validation check was added at the bottom of the income statement (the summed net income across entities must match QuickBooks' own net income figure) to catch errors. The member acknowledged existing commercial tools likely do this already (referencing tools like Keeper and Double), but built a custom version.
