How can I use Claude to speed up creation of accounting workpapers?

One approach shared: give Claude full context on how your business/workpapers currently operate, then explicitly ask it for ideas on how to make the process faster, and push back or challenge it if the response feels lazy or incomplete. Claude has no real concept of time — if it says a task 'will take 5 days,' you can simply tell it to do it anyway and it will proceed immediately. This same approach was used to have Claude generate ideas for tools accounting firm owners could use for business decisions, then simply asking it to 'make them.' The broader point made was that most open questions about how to use the tools (e.g., what different product tiers do, when to use them) can just be asked directly to Claude, which will explain itself, including in plain language when it lapses into 'developer talk.'
