How can I speed up Claude's document processing when working with scanned tax documents that contain duplicate or unnecessary pages?

59:58From the June 10 call · MCP Connectors, Custom Dashboards, and Skill Libraries in Practice

One member described a client with numerous W2G gambling winnings forms, where each scanned document contained an A and B copy on the same page plus disclosure pages on the back. By manually deleting the duplicate B-side and disclosure pages before feeding the document to Claude, they cut a 200-page PDF down to 100 pages. This significantly sped up processing time and reduced cost, since Claude reads every page of a document. The takeaway: removing data you don't need Claude to look at can meaningfully speed up analysis and save money.
