How can Claude be used to quickly build a simple general ledger tool?

40:00From the June 2 call · Real Estate Bookkeeping Tools, Local Claude Setups, and AI Compliance Networks

Claude Code released a feature called 'live artifacts' that was used to build an agentic general ledger, similar in concept to what companies like Puzzle are building. The resulting GL appeared within seconds using GL-related prompts. However, the data in this artifact is stored locally in the browser and is limited to about 10 megabytes, which makes it suitable mainly for self-employed individuals or very small businesses rather than larger operations. One participant noted uncertainty about whether such tools store data locally or in the cloud, and about how to build on them further (e.g., PDF upload), highlighting this as a gap for less technical accountants.
