Has anyone tried the new AI-native bookkeeping ledgers like Kick or Digits, and how do their Claude/MCP integrations compare to QuickBooks or Xero?

One member has been testing Digits for about a month and likes it so far, saying it's made things simpler. Digits has an MCP that connects with Claude, and unlike Xero's or QuickBooks' MCP (which reportedly only lets you connect one company at a time), Digits' MCP lets you pull data across all connected clients at once — reflecting that it's built for accountants rather than small business owners. Using the Claude MCP into Digits, the member found it could essentially do the analysis portion of a full close: pulling all transactions over a set dollar amount, flagging what's not reconciled, etc. It doesn't write back to Digits directly, but the member is exploring having Claude write those results into Air Table (used as their internal CRM/workflow tool) instead, since their internal processes already flow through Air Table. Kick was also mentioned as having an MCP for Claude, with the comment that QuickBooks' MCP 'sucks' by comparison, though no one on the call had directly tested Kick.
