Are clients using ChatGPT to question their tax returns, and how should preparers handle that?

One participant noted that this tax season they received more client emails with questions about their returns that were clearly generated by feeding the return into ChatGPT (not necessarily TaxGPT) - the tool spit out questions to ask, and the questions weren't always accurate. As a preparer, though, it was framed as manageable: an accountant can quickly tell whether the AI-generated question is nonsense or a genuinely good point worth addressing.
